As a BYUSA Area Vice President you serve as the head of one of the four BYUSA areas (Student Advisory Council, Clubs, Campus Activities, and Communications). You will receive training to lead a team of executive directors, preside over a budget, and lead your area. The vice president positions require 25-30 hours of service a week from the spring term until the end of the school year. Many academic programs will count this experience as an internship as many professional skills are acquired and put into practice. Because of the time dedicated to the position, BYUSA Vice Presidents receive a tuition waver which also covers text book costs. There are several eligibility requirements for VP positions, please see the application for more information. You may download an Application here.
