    Fall Fest (September 19th)

    BYUSA is thrilled to welcome you back to campus with autumn's biggest event—The Fall Fest! The night is sure to be a hit for each and every student, as activities represent a wide variety of interests.


    Get Out the Vote (September 15th-19th)

    Has registering to vote been bumped to the bottom of your to-do-list? Don't let the approaching registration deadline silence your vote this election. Get out your vote.


    Homecoming (October 7th-11th)

    As BYU Cougar fans get pumped for the Homecoming game against New Mexico, we will also get to participate in several Homecoming events sponsored by BYUSA which will take place the week of the big game. Events will include the traditional Kick-Off BBQ in Brigham Square, the infamous blue foam at True Blue Football, a delicious Pancake breakfast held the morning of the parade, several exciting Homecoming dances, and a married student activity called “Blue and White Laughs”. Show your Homecoming spirit as you come and participate in these exciting events.

     

    True Blue Football (October 8th)

    If your favorite color wasn’t blue before this event, it’ll grow on you. This year there will be a huge Slip ’n’ Slide covered with blue foam! Additionally, a DJ will be providing tunes throughout the event as participants also take part in tug of war, an obstacle course, volleyball, Jello eating contests, and flag football competitions.


    Battle of the Bands (October 25th)

    The annual battle of for the title of the best band at BYU. After a round of tryouts, eight finalists perform in this show. 


    Monster Mash (October 31th)

    The main Monster Mash event will be held in Brigham Square and will feature a carnival theme. Come decked out in your best costume for a costume contest and a chance to win great prizes like Coldplay tickets! Enjoy chess tournaments, games, pictures and get excited for Halloween night! There are plenty of prizes to give away and all activities will be absolutely free. Don’t miss out on the fun festivities this Halloween—get excited to have a smashing time at Monster Mash!


    Fall Preference (November 7th-8th)

    “Your turn!” Each of the four ladies’ choice dances are centered on a different board game including "Battleship Big Band Night", "Don't Break the Ice", "Chess: A Black & White Tie Affair", and "Twister Revolution Dance".

     

    Blue & White Week (November 17th-21st)

    As free-falling leaves covered campus with rich shades of red, orange and gold, Cougar colors faded into the background. It’s time for Blue and White Week to paint campus with school spirit again starting Monday, Nov. 17! Get excited for an entire week of non-stop celebration with noonday activities in and around the WSC in anticipation for Saturday’s game against the University of Utah!

     

    Mr. BYU (November 21st)

    Twelve finalists compete for the title of Mr. BYU. Talent, poise, and fitness will be the judging factors. Admission is free, and the fun starts at 7 p.p. in the JSB Auditorium.


    Kick It With Honor (November 21st)

    Come experience the ultimate game room experience with THREE fields of Human Foosball at the Smith Field House on Friday, Nov. 21, from 7-10 p.m. as a part of the BYUSA Student Honor Association's "Kick'n it With Honor" activity. Admission is FREE! Plenty of water will be provided.

     

    Care Week (December 1st-6th)

    Clubs gather together all through the year, but their one week to shine is drawing quite near! Care Week is a semi-annual event which allows campus clubs to have fundraisers for the charity of their choice. Beginning Monday, Dec. 1, campus clubs will fill the WSC with booths explaining their causes and give students an opportunity to contribute! Be a part of Care Week by contributing to a worthy cause and having fun in the process! Tis the season of caring.

     

    Freeze Fest (December 6th)

    Get ready to celebrate the Christmas season at Seven Peaks Arena on Friday, Dec. 6 from 9 p.m. to midnight. There will be ice skating and Broom Hockey, a host of Christmas games and activities, and a dance. Admission to this event is free with a BYU ID and $1 without. In addition, there will be free transportation to and from campus provided. Shuttles will be available in the WSC parking lot in front of Jamba Juice from 8:30-9:30 and 11:30-12:30.

     

    Welcome Back Week (January 5th-9th)

    Welcome Back Week is a BYU tradition for the beginning of a new semester, with one week of hot chocolate in the mornings, food and recreation in the afternoon, and finally, a dance and a movie on Friday night. In addition, Welcome Back Week for winter 2009 will be unique as it includes an American Idol type event called "Sing for your books!" Forty students will be drawn to start the rounds of singing, and the winner receives $350 for text-books while the runner-up wins $150.

     

    Winter Concerts (January 24th & 31st)

    Winter concerts will include performances from John Schmidt and Ryan Shupe.

     

    Knight Games (February 6th)

    The event will include a sword fighting arena, ball, theatrical performances, labyrinth, rose dipping, chain mail making, food, and more!

     

    Redefine Service Week (February 9th-13th)

    Visit booths around campus to share how someone served you in a simple way. Stop by and pick up a Redefine Service pin if you haven't yet gotten one.

     

    BYUSA's Year in Review (February 16th-20th)

    This week gives the current BYUSA Presidency an opportunity to report on the work they've directed since taking office in April the year before. The President and Executive Vice President report the initiatives of their campaign and how they were fulfilled. An open Question and Answer forum allows students to come and ask the Presidency about their service.

     

    Y Ball (February 21st)

    Married students can enjoy a formal dance and a night to remember at the Y Ball.


    Unofficial Spring Break (March 10th-14th)

    Take a break during winter semester with an unofficial spring break and a weekend full of fun activities.

     

    Larger than Life (March 13th)

    The Student Honor Association presents Larger than Life: a free event in the WSC Ballroom and Terrace based on life-sized games..


    First Annual Soccer Showdown (March 14th)

    BYU's College Republicans and College Democrats clubs have teamed up and challenged BYUSA volunteers to a soccer game. 2 p.m. RB Fields. Food donations accepted for the Utah County Food Bank.

     

    Guitars Unplugged (March 20th)

    An acoustic showcase of some of BYU's most talented guitarists. Each artist performs one song. Songs at the concert are available on a CD previously recorded by the artists in a local studio.

     

    Spring Block Party (April 14th)

    This will be a great way to end winter semester so don't miss out!
